Who controls your data

Analytics data: We use Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous page-view statistics. This includes page URLs, referrer URLs, browser type, device type, and country of origin. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
Contact information: If you email us at hello@avoidroaming.com, we store your email address and message content to respond to your inquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list.
Calculator inputs: The roaming bill calculator runs entirely in your browser. No calculator inputs (carrier, destination, trip length, data usage) are sent to our servers or stored anywhere.

We process data under these legal bases:
- Analytics data: Legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Analytics are anonymized and cannot identify individuals.
- Contact form submissions: Consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You choose to send us a message.

Cookies
We use essential cookies required for site functionality. Vercel Analytics uses a privacy-focused, cookieless approach that does not track individual users across sessions.
Third-party links
Our site contains links to eSIM providers (Airalo, Holafly, Saily, Nomad) and carrier websites. These links may include affiliate tracking parameters. When you click an affiliate link, the destination site's privacy policy applies. We do not control or have access to data collected by third-party sites.
Data processors

Data retention
Analytics data is retained for 30 days by Vercel. Contact emails are retained for as long as necessary to resolve your inquiry, then deleted.
